McThrok I had the same problem. Changing parent city number to 0 and colony numbers to 1,2,3,4 solved the problem. I also have city appears event but idk if it is necessary.

my main city is already city 0, i havent had it reoccur, was just that one game i had. Hopefully it doesnt repeat itself

Also i people enjoy it i can probably add more events if it gets stagnant during gameplay.

Completed this over the weekend, and I must say this is one of the tougher ones. For me its fairly challenging and very enjoyable. Here's the review and as always, it may contain spoilers.

Playability: 5
Moderate to hard in difficulty. Playable with no notable issues.

Balance: 4
Balanced and well spread. Throughout the adventure the players' decision-making and resources management are frequently put to test.

Creativity: 5
As above, the adventure required us to plan ahead - be it the city layout, events response, large demands, or distribution etc. Goals are achievable but requires time and effort. Limited resources (i.e. grapes, wheat) also provide some challenges.

Map Design: 4
Parent is a great looking map - varied terrains, forest, resources nestled within the hills, islands separated by lakes and sands. The starting land is actually just enough for few some straight-line blocks. Great use of bridge to control access to bronze, more meadows and additional land. Bronze is tough to reach given the distance, so the bronze production goal may need a few tries there. No sea trades and ports, triremes are worthless here. Both colony map are compact and fit for their missions. Flanius (fleece) is the easier one for the casual playthrough.

Story/Instructions: 4
Good effort on the story tie-in with the goals and events in-game. Some minor formatting misses but no harm done.

Additional Comments:
I've got the missing colony (Flanius) bug on the worldmap too, it doesn't affect gameplay and resolved by a quick save-n-reload.

Monsters are luckily not a threat. The one at the colony can be ignored, the one at the parent city can be nullified by the bridge trick. No real pressure to summon the Hero when he's available. On the other hand, opposing gods are big threats. As they lay their marks on the city there is simply no defense, since Hades or Demeter is only available at the very last episode. Invasions are biggest threats. They are very large, and invasion point is very close to the city. The city may not have enough money to bribe, and even with troops a fight to defend usually ends very bad. Have to surrender and to return the fight when ready.

More cities appearing at the end actually made the adventure easier, since more resources (especially wheat) to provide city growth and stability.

Black marble and Orichalc made available at the end, but aside from trades they serve no purpose because no shrines can be built as Greeks, a small pity.

Tidal wave is nasty but didn't do much damage luckily. Graphically it turn some of the sands into pieces of unusable land. Not a nice sight but it doesn't affect gameplay.

Overall the adventure is very well done, simply enjoyable. Thanks!

Thanks dulano your reviews are always appreciated. Im working on another campaign but boy even on mortal difficulty i had to surrender one time. Super fun though. Got some events to rearrange, proofreading to do and some minor changes and tweaks but once im done it should be pretty fun lol.

Sorry was not around these days, much as I would like to I'm not sure I could help though... I'm only able to play little to none since the month started.
