Sent by your brother you begin a new city on the mainland, only to find things dont go quite as planned.
I have tested it several times and have not encountered any problems. Please notify me if anything weird occurs.
I put it as mortal but the beginning battles were pretty close as i had no money to play off enemies.
Dont wish to put any spoilers so play it and see what happens as i am pretty happy with the results. |

I am playing it right now, however I got to the first colony mission and got defeated twice, causing me the game. The army attacking is way too much, I don't have nearly the numbers yet.
Luckily I saved the game before the defeat and will try again, probably bribe this time.
I liked the first two, this one seems a bit imbalanced but let's see what happens! |

i did say it is tougher then the other ones i made, so some planning is required, and it might be too difficult in the harder settings. But it should be able to be done, bribing might be needed if enemy is too tough. thats what i wanted though |

thank you very much for the reviews i will consider them for my next quest. And yes i did make this map rather challenging perhaps i should have rated it higher.
I am really impressed you guys kept trying to get through those invasions your perserverance is commendable. |

Long-time player/reader, infrequent poster here. This is just a couple comments, not a full review: What a fun, supersized, infuriating scenario! I played at Hero level and it took me two days to finish (about 12 hours total -- I'm in coronavirus exile this week with a lot of spare time).
*Spoilers ahead*
One question: if you send your whole army (not navy) away and get attacked "because X thinks you are weak," the invading army usually comes by sea in a bunch of transports with no warships. This makes it really easy to defeat them with your frigates before they hit shore. Was that intentional? During the "normal" invasions they'll come by land or bring triremes so it is harder to judge if you'll be able to fight them or need a bribe.
The maps were absolutely beautiful with so much artistry put into each of them. I love that you give players enough room to build their cities however they want. I'm not really sure how the disasters are relevant to the story, though, other than a humorous aside about the engineers :-) especially since it's still easy to access enough of the same resource afterwards. |

Thanks for the review and i am really glad you enjoyed it and honestly also enjoy that people found it a challenge. I was totally going for the challenge part and if you noted in my story there was some information regarding the landscape being unsettled? it was a hint that the disasters would happen kinda thing.
And honestly anything that help you win military wise is just great too, if you figured something out that worked then thats awesome.
Honestly i didnt really intend for some kind of trick regarding the military and i agree there were a few little glitches i never noticed.
I am also really happy you enjoyed the landscape i thoroughly enjoy making the maps and i like to make something look natural but also allows enough room for multiple types of blocks.
Thank you all for your reviews and commments perhaps one day i will make a story that will rate 5.0 lol. |
