Hahaha well now... from your few other comments I'm really starting to think that, trolling aside maybe you're somewhat "new" to the game?
I mean no offense here. But "EVERYTHING JUST EXPLODES and CANNOT CONSTRUCT ANYTHING" or "Area cut from the World", means you'll need to ensure both ends of the map were not blocked, for the people to come in-and-out of your city... a game-mechanic that was present in almost all Impression Games.
In this case, from the start a bridge was needed across the river in the middle.
Though personally I think this was not the best map design especially for the uninitiated, it wasn't a big deal since it was neither a bug nor a crash.
Slight spoiler: further into the adventure a flood will come, you'll need re-act fast on the bridge thing else the city will "explode" even faster. ;)
Hope you'll proceed with the adventure, as I thought it was quite enjoyable.
Good luck![Edited on 06/09/20 @ 12:49 AM]

Playability: 5
Fairly easy on Hero level. Playable with no game-breaking bugs. Gameplay was smooth.
Balance: 4
The adventure was tougher at the start of the adventure due to lack of funds and limited trade. By comparison though, it was surprisingly relaxed towards the end due to underwhelming goals at the end. I'll elaborate more on this later.
Creativity: 4
Most events were solid and smooth, and no real surprise (except maybe the disasters). In the parent city, nice use of landslide/flood to change resources' availability and to limit sea trades.
Map Design: 4
The parent city Athens was a very large map to build freely. Meadows at the water sides were some nice aesthetics. There were few potentially brutal disasters, which luckily I didn't build at those spots.
I like that both colonies were well-designed. Miletos was tough, it was a proper challenge to sustain the sea trade when Kraken roams the strait, Perseus was neither the fastest nor the cheapest hero to summon. And Miletos have had to keep begging for spare food as the story implied. Mantineia was somewhat tough too, there was limited room in the map and it required to plan well for the goals, especially for Hercules's requirement. While the other goals were easy, Hydra was a very real threat to the city since it targeted the hall often. The sequence of which colony to play first probably didn't matter.
Story/Instructions: 4
A nice story detailed with characters, motives and their reasons.
Additional Comments:
Some humble opinions and minor spoilers ahead.
Area cut off from world - it might be helpful with some instructions/reminder to build a bridge first, as some people may not be aware of it.
Nitpicks - At the parent map there was an awkward strip of land at bottom (south) of the map. For allies or rivals alike, all the leaders got the same name "Acrisus".
Because some rivals could be conquered early as soon as the military was up (ep3 or ep4), this made the adventure a whole easier on the long run.
In ep6 (after 2nd colony), the wait for the coastline to appear for triremes was too long in my opinion (15+ years), especially since the other goals could have been long fulfilled at this point. During this time, frankly there wasn't much to do except to conquer remaining rivals, which led to a rather quick end to the next episode (ep7, got 7 out of 8 trading partners at this point). It's a pity both colonies didn't survive. :(
Lastly in the last episode with one ultimate goal, again there was nothing much else to do but to wait (8 years) for Cilicia's military decline, before crushin it with full forces (land + sea + heroes) to end the adventure. A few more objectives (ie. yearly production) may help to spice things up.
Overall, this is a very enjoyable adventure well done. Thanks!

@dulano
Thanks for the review!
Although I've been playing the game for what seems like forever, this is my first time creating an adventure, so it's great to get constructive feedback.
You're absolutely right in that it doesn't matter which order you play the colonies in, although when testing I did find the first one is always tougher. And yes, that Hydra is a PITA (although some careful positioning can mitigate the danger she poses)
I'll have a look at those nitpicks you found - some of them I'd missed but I'll update the file. There's always room for improvement!
Thanks again

dear weedyt,
i have just downloaded your adventure but was unable to win because by ep6 there remained only 10 cities total. i might have missed something somewhere, but upon checking the adventure in the editor i could see that several cities were disppearing in ep4 and no cities appear after that. please correct me if i'm wrong or correct the adventure if i'm right. thank you in advance. |

Greg77 - I ran into the same issue... Won't let me complete the episode because there are only 10 cities in total and I need 10 trading partners. Can't trade with myself. |

@Greg77 and @Olympusian
Thanks for playing the adventure - I've looked back through the editor and it seems Byzantion isn't appearing. The problem should be sorted now and I've updated the file, so you should have 10 cities plus the parent city by the final episode. |
