The rebirth

Author File Description
File Details
This latest creation will provide hours of entertainment for most levels of players. Although it would be considered a challenge for novices it is still very playable and winable for all. As with each of my adventures many hours goes into play testing them before I post. If you find any errors or omissions in this adventure please email me at the address provided in the readmefirst.txt file.

Taras is but a dream in your mind when you first set foot on this rugged terrain. Many have told you that the land is not habitable but you are out to prove all of them wrong. Demeter also feels Taras is a beautiful place and has been insulted by your lack of interests in her. As you grow and prosper you will need to pass several hurdles.

Have fun

Joree Taylor Great Adventure!
Just one problem; there's no way to get Theseus to come to any of the episodes where he's needed.
Not a biggy; I just used a cheat to get out of the colony episode and I didn't need him to win the game although my life would have been easier if he'd come to help.
This was a challenging game; kinda tricky keeping everybody happy and conquered.
thanx for a great play.
DJF First of all, very good game! The only bug I found was that my sheep & goats keep dying even though there's no wolf packs near the meadow. I expect that when Demeter invades, but it happens every 2 months whether she's invading or not!

Played through adventure about 6 times before posting as well as having it tested by three others. During this time no one noticed the sheep deaths. That is a curious one and I will have to check on the forum pages for a possible solution. As far as Theseus goes he is a pain. Make sure that not only are all requirements met but that you also allow him to get into your well guarded heros hall. On occasion a player will build walls around the hall and not include a gatehouse. Without this there is no entrance to the hall and Theseus will not come. Another issue that has happened is that the walls and gatehouse are laid down before adding a road to the hall. Roads will not be laid through the gatehouse. You must place a road down first to the hall and then place the gatehouse over the wall.

Hope this helps and thanks for the great support.

"You must place a road down first to the hall and then place the gatehouse over the wall."

should read..... place gatehouse over the road....not wall.

laurels Hey BobT, I loved this one. Really interesting/challenging terrain, but still playable. I had no problems with Theseus or any other Hero, and just found it to be great fun. Not easy, but still fun!
And I had the same problem with the dying sheep, kinda odd that one. But if you notice, the problem exists in every; after a while you can still put sheep in meadow even if when you originally set up your cheese/fleece factories it said you reached your limit. Just in this case it was more often..
Still, easy fix..just once a year place a few more sheep until it once again tells you you've reached the limit. They only cost about 60d each, not much.
Thanks for a great play!
Sir Dumbicus As expected, another great adventure. No problems with heroes and just kept replacing sheep. Challenge level was enough to keep you on your toes but not impossible. Quite a few REALLY ENJOYABLE hours on this one. Thanx muchly.:)
AngelCat I have had a lot of fun with this adventure! And as for the problem with the sheep, I believe the mytery of them disappearing is due to the temples using them for sacrifce....
DJF I thought of that too, but even with just one sanctuary, the same amount would disappear in the same time frame. Maybe Cronus escaped from the underworld?
