adorina Hi
Is this a 1024x768 adventure too?
Because if it is, I can't play it...too big for my screen.
So I wanted to check with you before I decided to download it.

Robert Thanks David , another gr8 adventure. It's always lots of fun building big cities..looking forward to the next one :)
Bucephalus Yet another great adventure. Excellent maps, thoughtfully designed. Some items paticularly difficult to get hold of (by design, of course...) especially when playing at olympian level. Very challenging! Thanks!
Saverio Mercurio There's a little bug in one the episodes of this adventure. Specifically, the "Hard as Iron" episode. One of the goals is to have three sanctuaries. Well, I *did* have three sanctuaries at the beginning of the episode: Hermes, Hephaestus (required in an earlier episode), and Athena. The goals status claimed I only had two. It insisted that I had to build the Citadel of Poseidon. I don't know if this is an adventure or engine bug.
Bradius Well, I did finally finish. I must say that this is one adventure I really did not like. I felt the objectives and requests were far too hard early on. Getting available resources to do anything were virtually impossible at Olympian difficulty. In retrospect, I might have been able to eek out some more bronze and done some military action early on to secure needed resources. Of course it might have also been possible to use tiremes that were available in the colonies to use to get needed resources. The adventure is not difficult really, but it takes far too long to do anything. I felt that it dragged on and really bored me. I finish with a sigh. Sorry to be negative, but that is how I feel about this one.
CycloneGU I have run into my own unique problem right now. It appears that, if you do the Hell Patrol colony mission first (this is the city of Erewhon), there is absolutely no way to get the Orichalc for the shrine as no one produces it except for a rival - whom cannot be assaulted via water. I have no quests to complete making them possibly become an ally, and I don't have any Elite Houses to create an army to attack them. When I try to raid, I have to select forces before selecting an ally to help; raids cannot be made on your behalf by another city otherwise. So I am being forced to explore an alternative at this time for completing this mission. Not too happy right now, but I am sure after doing another colony (maybe the Orichalc one), I can head back later and complete that shrine; for now, time is just running on with Hephaestus constantly saying hi.

So unfortunately, I think this is a design bug.

I have now tried "Locked In" instead. Once again, I am missing the Bronze needed for the sculpture, and I'm missing the Orichalc. The rivals in question ARE accessible by sea; however, there is no Armor for my Frigate construction, and again no Elites. So once again, I am flummoxed for a solution. I am wondering whether we are expected to conquer a weaker rival before moving on so we get their trade in the colony; in that case, it should be a goal of Episode 2. So I have to review this now, and it won't be favourable unfortunately. I can't figure out what to do playing even as a mere Mortal.

I'm just going to be general on this one. I tried two different colony missions as the first; neither one was able to be completed as the adventure would be played by the average person. It seems to get through the colonial efforts, one must conquer a rival or two first; this therefore means building a full army in the parent city and getting allied help in a military attack. The gift of 20 Armor goes a long way to two and a half companies in Episode 2 (though speedy players will miss it), and if there IS something coming up seven or ten years into the colonies, it drags on to the point of boredom such that it's not worth hanging around. I enjoyed to an extent the humour in the storyline as far as I got, but the colony maps were very limited from what I saw. I just don't get this one. Sorry.
