In the beginning, there was...absolutely no Fleece anywhere. This makes for a challenge organizing your neighbourhood(s), a challenge that I like in this case. I put mine between the field and the Boar/Deer area, putting appropriate buildings on each side (watching the Boar hunters get killed in the process, I for some reason enjoy that). I also started selling Olive Oil immediately as tax income is unreliable by itself, and besides I can't use it yet; when I had next year's sales waiting and enough goods in my warehouse aside from that, I set them aside and headed to Fleeceland (colony). I won't spoil the colony, but mine was a challenge; I took some Marble back home from mine and started building a sanctuary and Pyramid. You deal with having no Frigates at home and having to find Orichalc and Sculpture only from rivals. When the Minotaur comes along, Theseus is needed, and he needs Wine from a weak rival. Only if you have the foresight to get Armor in the first episode can you have time to outfit your Elites for battle by the second year (since Elite housing cannot be done in the first episode). There isn't enough time to do everything; the Minotaur appears in the middle of your hunting field, then wanders out and destroys your Agora and your Granary repeatedly. Housing devolves, and see ya later. Reading ahead, if you even get through this nightmare, the storyline doesn't even mention the Minotaur or Theseus, just Achilles and Athena (whose sanctuary is not a goal, so she may not even be walking the streets).
In summary, I found it unplayable, but I'll give it a second try later now that I know where the Minotaur enters. I wonder if adding walls and gatehouses would keep him from invading completely, however. I'll rerate if I somehow get through this.
