Duane A very enjoyable adventure. In my opinion one of your best. I would like to thank you for all the enjoyment you have given me and other Zeus enthusiasts with your adventures. So thank you very much.

Maggie Must agree with Duane here, Wolfie! For some reason, Lonely River is absolutely one of your best adventures. I've been thinking about why ever since Duane posted his note, and for the life of me, I can't figure it out exactly, but a few things come to mind: Your parent map is interesting without being oppressive. Sometimes you have a tendency to create your large residential-friendly plateaus pretty far away from the coast line... thus causing long walks with vital goods and resulting slow-downs. Lonely River's residential plateau is close enough to the water for ease of access but certainly far enough to escape dock and wharf undesireability. Next, your disasters were exciting, well planned, scary and well timed! Even better, they created hardships, but didn't wipe out all of one's hard work! And they weren't gratuitous... they were incorporated right into the story line. Meadows were plentiful and in diverse locations so as to give the player a choice on where to build agriculture. Invasions were well timed, realistic and challenging... again, also incorporated into the story. Lastly, each episode added goods or buildings or services or sanctuaries or something on which to build the city even bigger, more productive and more beautiful. Thus, the adventure never got boring.

A real gem, David! Many thanks.

Best, Maggs

quakeii I want to echo the sentiments expressed here and on many, many of your adventures which have given many city builders countless hours of fun and satisfaction. I cannot tell you how many of your adventures I have re-played just for the pleasure of seeing my city improve. My numbers may be off a little but on first count you have submitted 49 of the 178 player created adventures in Zeus--27%!

I hope you play Emperor when it arrives and if the new city builder is a success you create adventures equal to all your work in Zeus! Thank you.
KansasCallisto Hippodrome keeps collapsing! In Episode 2,I build the long hippodrome in what seems to the logical place around the elevated center. I make sure crosswalks allow unimpeded access at each road crossing. Trade is conducted without interruption, people are immigrating. But no horses are ever delivered and the hippodrome eventually crashes. The message is that the area is cut of from the rest of the world.

Based on other comments, I'd like to play this adventure but after trying 3-4 times to get past Episode 2 I'm giving up unless someone can help me figure out what's wrong.
Tina Therrien I downloaded you lonely river adventure and noticed that the Hippodrome does not work properly. Or is is me? Also I have found that you cannot pass episode 2 because you cannot get sculpture from anyone to build temples. Is there a gift of sculpture later on in this episode or what?

I was enjoying it so far.

Silver I am also having problems with getting sculpter for the shrine and temple. What should I do?

vaixnet Very nice adventure....thanks!

Very engaging and good story and plot..

There was a bug with the hippodrome though ...
I realised that i had placed few crosswalks other than the ones connected to the city... I got rid of them and when it was connected again, the horses started to flow :)

thanks again and do keep making good adventures:)

Mistique There was no bug with the hippodrome, people!!! Just that you have to provides many crosswalk, especially where people and caravans come to the city, so that it won't be cut out from the world. Think, people, think!
