Lets see, I'm hated by the Gods, I can't trade, and I have very few resources. If I raid I can't get anything but Drachmas which is okay but, not if I can't buy anything. I can get tribute if I can conquer someone but, I have no way of knowing in advance what that tribute will be. Okay a piece of cake. Just a walk in the park right? I thought you said this was challenging?
Truth to tell, a lot of fun.

Man, was this adventure challenging, especially at Olympian level. I don't know what the intended difficulty level was, so I may have just made it more difficult by playing it at that level. During one of the episodes I had two invasions back-to-back in which the bribe level was 60,000 drachmas! I took the ol' surrender for now option. In the end I pounded everyone, which was extremely gratifying.

Finished this on Olympian. Was very tough, close to impossible.
Halfway the game Hector attacks the city. You need marble to call him, but there is no import source. First you need to conquer a city to get a tribute, but you don't know which one. Later on the shortage of wood is terrible. There is also a lack of fleece, but it's playable with little fleece.
Opponents have big armies.
I like the tributaries
Map Design: 5
Interesting map. Varied, but enough space for a large city.
Additional Comments: Very tough campaign. Possible on Olympian, but prepare to share your city with Hector for 10 long years.
