Corcyra has the raw goods to become a Greek powerhouse; it also has luscious meadows on which succulent grapes can be grown to produce the most delicious wine. Alas, it also has the God of Wine as a frequent visitor- and, it seems, your family's name is mud in the Drunk One's eyes...
This adventure was inspired by Nightwolf's two sets of Dedication series. However, I'm approaching things from a different angle: How can each god make its ruler truly miserable? In this adventure, you'll suffer the exclusive wrath of Dionysus...
Please note that this is the first adventure I've ever completed. As such, the map is not particularly complex, as I was concentrating mainly on story. I do believe everything works the way it should, as I've played through it myself. Do post here, though, if you find any problems with the adventure.
2/14/06: Submitted the adventure "Rock and a Hard Place", which has a theme similar to "Grapes". As such, this adventure should be considered #1 in what I'm calling the Godsbane series. Also, based on the comments I've received, I've adjusted the difficulty for this adventure to Mortal. |

A fun game. I look forward to your next adventure. I reckon it was about moderate difficulty. With the colony being more challenging than some I have seen. |

Playability: 4
This adventure was really fun. I played it on Olympian, and it still wasn't very challenging, so you can really relax playing. The only thing why I'm reducing the rating here is a bug I had in the last episode. There was a sea invasion which I bribed and the ships should have left. However, they got stuck at the end of the map. No fighting, but enough to keep my city officially under attack. After some time, people would no longer migrate to my city due to this. There was a way to get more people by praying to one of the gods, but I don't think this was intended by the author. Perhaps the bug doesn't happen every time, but I was too far into the episode to restart it.
Balance: 5
Everything was nicely planned and worked well. If this were a normal adventure, I'd say the fact that you can get so much money is a minus, but the story and the tasks kept me occupied so I didn't really notice.
Creativity: 5
As hard as it is to be creative in this game, you actually managed to make Apollo relevant at a point (not related to monsters). This was new to me :) Also, I'd say the story was quite creative.
Map Design: 5
Very nice, nothing to add here.
Story/Instructions: 5
In my opinion, this is where the adventure really shines. I love the stories in your other adventures as well :)
