This adventure has 5 parent episodes and 2 colony episodes.
It is an Atlantean adventure.
I enjoy the big cities, and don't care much for land disasters, as that tends to destroy all your good work.
You will need to plan ahead. I have tested it at the Mortal and Hero levels
and it has worked for me.
At one time this started with 3 colony's, but I changed it back to just 2 colony's.
I have included all the files so you can make any changes to it that you like.
If you have any questions, then send me an e-mail and I will try to answer yoiur questions.
I hope you enjoy this adventure.
Larry

Alexandria.pak
Alexandria.set
Alexandria.txt

just finished the first colony, and all the sanctuaries are still there, as are the pyramids... but they can all be built again! i cant summon atalanta because the menagerie - and all the other sanctuaries - arent 'built' despite the fact that they are.
all the scrub had gone, lots of buildings randomly collapse, despite loads of maintenance offices and the gods are allglitchy, hermes runs for about 10 squares then reappears and does it again, non stop, i can pray to the gods and still get the food oil etc.
the armies that attack arent always there, but they still leave a trail of destruction and cant be killed.
i have 1.5 million drachmae and an average of 15000 people, which changes even though i have plenty of food etc. and 28 estates. have i just overloaded the system? |

Playability: 5
Excellent adventure. I love building large cities with no disasters, and this was a few great hours.
Balance: 5:
City planning and building, with some colony activity, and many large contruction projects, and as much military as you want, this adventure has it all.
Creativity: 4
Really a 4.5 Nitpicking: perhaps more tie-in with the heroes and the storyline would be better.
Map Design: 5
Varied maps, with a need to plan ahead instead of just build build build.
Story/Instructions: 4
See creativity score. Not as humorous as the original storylines, but really story is of little consequence to me.
Additional Comments:
I loved this adventure. Thank you for spending the time to make this available.

I thought overall the adventure was fun to play. However I do have a few suggestions and problems with the adventure. I do think though that you did a great job at this, well done !
Playability: 3.5
I defiantly thought that the adventure was easy to play throughout the adventure, even though that I had played it on Olympian. However, I do believe that because of this, it made the adventure unchallenging and a little boring at times. I believe that the huge availability for trade, among other aspects, contributed to this. But, this is of course only my opinion, I like hard and challenging adventures, while others like more easy flowing ones. Even though that I had put playability at 4, I am more inclined to 3.5
Balance: 3
I think that the balance of this adventure comes down to the huge and variable ability of trade as well as map design. As it was incredibly easy to produce a high profit (i managed to get 93,000+), it allowed me to always bribe attacks from neighbouring cities, which I think gave the adventure a large level of unrealism. However, I believe that this is more a flaw of the actual game then that of your adventure, as I believe that the amount of bribe needed to ward off invaders consecutively should increase substantially very quickly. This obviously could of been improved on, though. Apart from this, I believe that game was quite balanced.
Creativity: 4
I thought that the story was a little funny at times, and its simplicity surprisingly suited the adventure quite well. However, I found that going to one of the colonies to get the best black marble in the land was a little redundant and didn't really go in with the storyline. Overall, I thought that the creativity of the adventure was great.
Map Design: 3
I thought that the abundance of resources and huge maps provided in the adventure, although fun, dumbed down the challenge of the adventure considerably. For me it seemed for each colony that I did not have to plan the shape of each city at all which also decreased the challenge of the game. I think that in order to improve on this I would like smaller map sizes with much less abundance of goods to trade with.
Story/Instructions: 4
Refer to creativity.
Additional Comments:
Adventure was quite satisfying and a good play. Although a few aspects of game play can be improved on, I think that the basis of the adventure was solid. Good job![Edited on 07/14/11 @ 07:00 AM]

Its a nice adventure but I found it too easy. You start with lots of all resources avaliable on the map and very quickly you can conquer all the other citys. After that, just build pyramids and temples...
Its nice if you like sandbox mode i guess |
