The idea is interesting and unusual, but the parent city map is not good enough to be attractive. It's a plain map, with some water, meadows and lots of orichalc ore. Also, the world map is surprisingly undeveloped. There are only two active cities at the start of the mission, and both are placed in wrong locations. One of them has a ridiculous suspended tribute of 5000 drachmas. Moreover, there are straight land trade routes on sea. The last episode has no winning conditions, too.
I think you should mention here that this adventure is not finished yet, otherwise people will be disappointed. Certainly, this adventure can be improved in many ways.[Edited on 01/23/10 @ 07:12 AM]

I have to agree with Orichalc on all points here.
I hate to criticize an adventure I haven't even played yet, that's why I won't make an official review of this. But just looking at the first episode, I see so many things wrong with it without even starting to build... So, please take this criticism the right way, those are my honest concerns and I hope you'll learn from them, rather than toss them aside.
1) Map: I swear, nothing is more boring than playing a custom adventure where no effort at all has been made to make the map interesting. A good story and balanced goals are wonderful for keeping the player interested, but they all collapse like a granary with no superintendent access when your map is boring. A good map isn't just a collection of resources, it's a lifelike version of the landscape of your city's region. Whenever I download an adventure with a plain map with just a few square-shaped resources pasted on it, I don't even start playing. Sounds harsh, but trust me, I'm not the only one. I'd rather have a good and interesting map with a boring story and goal than reverse, at least I can still make a fun sandbox game out of it in that case.
2) Story: Kudos to the idea. I can't comment fully on it, since I haven't played past the first episode yet, but I have to say the idea is interesting and original. A tiny remark: I don't expect perfect English, I'm not a native English speaker myself, but do try to make some paragraphs in your adventure text. It's easier on the eyes.
3) Atlantis, last time I checked, isn't located on Crete. Small details like that really take away from the atmosphere and feeling of realism (well, realism is probably not the best word considering your story, but you know what I mean :P). You don't need to know and use the locations of every obscure ancient city in Greece, but a place like Atlantis should have the right location. There are some online Zeus world maps where you can check the locations of these famous cities.
4) As Orichalc pointed out, what's with the 5000 Dr suspended tribute? It just makes the city properties look unfinished and unpolished. Same with the trade routes: they are overseas, why are they land routes? I'm sorry, but that spells lazyness all over: it takes just a minute to change those routes to sea routes. Hasty and sloppy stuff like that really doesn't help in making the adventure stand out.
5) Small point: just a population goal is not interesting at all. In general, any goals where the player just can disable messages to stop automatic pausing and then let the computer run unattended are a big no-no. I want to play a game, not watch a boring movie.
I realize this might all sound very harsh to you, but I am just being honest. I really hope I didn't chase you away from adventure making with these comments. I do applaud the effort of making an adventure and sharing it with us! But I also get the feeling you won't learn anything when no one brings up these flaws in your adventure design. Personally, I feel the map is the biggest issue: as I said, I don't mind a sloppy story or episode goals as much if the map is interesting. You might want to check bobT's excellent tutorial articles about map creation on the main site!
On a finishing note, don't give up, the idea of this adventure is very interesting and original. It would be awesome to play an adventure with that theme, but with an interesting map - including world map - and episode goals.[Edited on 02/14/10 @ 08:09 PM]
