This adventure took forever creating, most of the time consumption being map creation (very extensive use of cliffs) and some prolongation due to being my first adventure.

This adventure is about the Aegean people being allowed to enter the secret land of Lanthana, where they shall build a city dedicated to Poseidon. During the adventure you will build two collonies, defend yourself against big armies (later episodes) and deal with decent space issues (no standard housing blocks).
All in all im happy with the result, though the story is a bit standard. Please forgive me the occasional mistake, as English is not my native language.
If you encounter any problems please notify me (through comments) though there shouldn't be any grave bugs (tested the adventure twice).

I encountered some minor bugs that shouldn't be of annoyance:

- Level 1 housings may have a bugged appearance when built next to a cliff. This will resolve itself once it evolves into better housings.
- In Ephora you may notice a visual bug at the height of 11 (highest elevation in that map). The bug occurs if something bigger than 1x1 is built (includes already added rocks of 2x2 or 3x3) and you don't move vision for about 2-3 seconds. That little problem is seen rarely so don't be afraid of it.

Wow, this is campaign from hell. The main map made me actually pause the game and think for good 30 minutes how to even plan the first house block! I've avoided the plateaus on the west and made one just around the meadow hill in the centre. :P
And then we have the colonies. For example, when I saw Ephoria's landscape and the goals, I cringed. But I did complete it! Took me few tens of game years but got there eventually :)
This is both fun and challenging campaign and I refuse to believe it's your first. It's definitely done like by some professional maker ;D
You would get all 5's but in my eyes, it is a bit too hard and cramped map, so I had to lower the balance score just a tiny bit. I do have to admit I can't wait for your next missions, hopefully as challenging and interesting as Lanthana :)

Glad, people seem to like it. ;) Now for the longest comment...

Actually, it is really my first scenario. I just wanted to use the given tools to the fullest extent, that's why I used mostly cliffs because there isn't much else to do. But boy, does that consume time. Building the map in lego blocks would be faster. This adventure took over 100 hours. Probably lost 20 hours on remaking maps: Lanthana was once a complete island (replace the sandy parts with water and your about there) and a bit more flat (inland cliffs were added, high mountains were already there). Ephora was cut down from height 15 because of the stupid vision bug. And Kimolos was redone because it looked too cheap in comparison to the other maps. ;)

The editor is easy to use (there's an actually working help feature (unbelievable!), there's Google, and in the worst case you can take a glimpse on the work of others). It just takes a lot of time and, well, motivation. Replacing the editor music with heavy metal or a nearby TV sure worked wonders...
Had some bigger holes in motivation since I started a year ago ( >_> ) - god, I hate storytelling, especially using more advanced vocabulary in English.

As for the next adventure... well, I'm designing the next map. About 1/8 of the map in 8 hours, nothing else done yet. It will take it's time, we'll see.^^
Senseisan Very interesting and challenging adventure ( I plaid it as Olympeen ) . I fully agree whith Haspen's ratings . For balance , downloaders are now warned , don't dream about winning in some hours , it is matter of ( geek's... ) days , but it is doable.
Some tips for the last parent city :
* Keep an eye on the wool stock , I had to raid twice for wool .
*The trade center for Kimolos must be not too far from entry point , or you can't buy the 24 fleeces/year.
* If you are short of room for building ( that I can't believe ... ) the Sanctuary of Poseidon is now useless ( I kept it , but in case of need ...).
*Weakening the cities to conquer by permanents raids until they are 2 shields max and bribing invaders seems to be the only winning strategy whith your weak army .
Designer did a very great job here , many thanks for sharing it .

hannabad Completed the adventure at olympian and i must say it is a wounderfull game you have created! Hard to find a harder game that still is playable. Had to remove my Poseidon temple to complete the last housing goal but i wanted hephaistos more anyway :) so still won with 4 temples!

So far there seem to be no more problems, that's good.

Concerning my next adventure, I can say so far that the map design (highly complex...) and world map is done. However, scripting, testing and story will take their time, so be patient. ;)

Update: Scripting seems to come to an end. I was delayed because of my studies which took priority of course. Not sure if I'm making another playthrough to verify my last correction. It should work out well so far...

The map was awesome bud, the real downside that I had with the playthrough was how easy the other cities were to defeat, and there were times that I wanted to pull my hair out trying to figure out where I was going to come up with 5000 people in my city to complete that quest. I usually play on olympian or titan, It was a fun challenge untill the end where I ended up giving up when I saw that I had to build 4 sanctuarys including Poseidon's. There was no way without having just sanctuaries and maybe 200 people in the city. Big bummer. But otherwise good job.
