In this military oriented adventure, you will build Athens into the finest city in all of Greece. You will also establish two powerful colonies in Marathon and Thermopylae in order to fend of powerful Persian armies in two epic and historically accurate battles. This adventure consists of nine episodes, and is quite a fun challenge when the Persians attack! Have fun.
Great ONE, Wolf (refer to what i've just posted on Battle of Thermopylae) it's one of the best, if not the best, I've ever played.
It has everything I like:
deep adventure plan, big possibilities on building, no strangling tasks but challenging, plenty of resources to manage (but not granted), beautiful and wide scenario.
That's fun. Great Athens.
What can I say more...
More! More! More!
P.S. I'd have liked to have more Heroes,
that's the only flaw I can see.
(what about a version of ,uh, four?)

Well written and scripted scenario with a progressive and
The first episode is somewhat difficult as you need to build sufficient rables to fend off two attacks very close, which was thrilling. The rest of the episodes felt a little bit too esay as Athens enjoys almost all desirable resources without having to resort to outside trade.
Good story, challenging attacks (even if with a decent fleet, and 3 "war gods" and 1 navy god's creature), what is left on shore is a maigre squadron ! But I enjoyed building all these protective shrines and triremes platforms to prevent the maximum of them to debark. Nice twist at the end with Greece and so on
Map Design: 5
I like big maps. On Athens, I felt a little bit sad that the temple locations were so obvious. And also a bit sad that you did not require the player to build Poseidon and Zeus temples (I did as I was expecting that. And because I had far too much marbles and manpower!)
Nice instructions with a plot unfolding and clear instructions for the player. Too bad that you did not ask for Poseidon and Zeus temples as said before !
Overall, I enjoyed the story and I liked to build tall, even in colonies (which can be restrained in a way that you cannot build such mighty cities on these maps)
