ciao zeuS (Suez)..una nuova avventura la sto progettando ora,poi te la inviero' a te ed a walagos per sapere il vostro parere.Ciao
Mazeppa I don't want to be "that guy", but I have to be frank. Seriously, when you design your map, have you ever - even a little bit - have an ounce of thought that your map is incomplete?

Every map you've contributed thus far show very little creativity. I admit however, that you do a good job with the coastlines, and the events you've put in have some challenge, so I give you merit for that, but other than that, your map looks like something that took 5 minutes to do, and you're just throwing random stuff, like you're throwing junk into a garbage bin.

Here are some issues I have with these maps:
- Yes, indeed you're putting scrubs, but you're putting them just for the sake of putting them and as a result, nothing appeals to the eye. Put some variety in them, or something. Not just filling them with scrub like you're raping the hell out of the fill button in MS Paint. :-S

- Your maps are completely empty. It's like looking at something that was far from complete. Add some cliffs, rocks, mountains; put in some character; do *something* that makes it look natural; put some eye candy - just *Something*. Not just leave it empty like that. :/ Your map looks like something that came out of a facebook game, and that's not a compliment. :/

- Why, oh why, oh *WHY* do you have to add words like "senza risorse" or "solo contro whatever" or "Chicken-butt" or "What the hell am I doing" or "Please kill me" to these maps? The title's *up there*, it's not like the player is going to forget about it.

Look, I know it's exciting to make a map - I mean, the thrill of it all - but adding words like that just makes your map look ugly. Who on earth cares about that anyway? What's the point of adding them? It serves no purpose, and it's much better to just remove them, for crying out loud.

The creativity you put into those maps are appalling, and yet you still continue to make maps in that style. Why won't you try out some of the countless maps here, where there is so much creativity and eye-candy? Why won't you explore them? Learn more on how to make better maps? It's easy to draw inspiration from them, and BobT made a great guide on how to make maps that are creative, realistic and full of eye-candy. You could even get someone else to draw a better map if you're not capable or creative enough - I mean, I could help if I'm not too busy these days.

Seriously dude, your maps are crying. They show clearly the lack of effort you put into them and I pity these maps. They are young, sprouting with leaves and shoots - yet, they look lifeless.
Mazeppa, I sent you a private email (not related to your comment here). I used the email in your profile here on Zeus Heaven. If that email isn't working anymore, let me know.
Mazeppa ^ Oh, hey Gweilo. :)
Yep, I received your message. :) Though, I never use that e-mail anymore, I fortunately could still remember the password to that e-mail address. :o

Anyway, I've just sent a reply your message - but it seems it's not sending due to crappy internet connection. Argh!! Anyway, I'll keep trying until it does send. ^_^

I think I really need to change my e-mail address in my profile. XD

Mazeppa, I got your email
suez Mazeppa ... you know where do we put the wedges us ??? under the ruote..quello is your task ... if you made this observation "negative" means that you are not able to complete the adventure, peche otherwise you would have seen that there was very little then I spazio..e I do adventures for fun mica to exalt me !!! (Sorry if I write on behalf of my friend Geronimo Gero ... but fails to connect)
Mazeppa ^ Hi suez, I apologize if I was insulting, but I have to be straight to the point here. I did try to give advice, but it seems you've overlooked it.

Anyway, I don't think you've understood my comment up there very well. I didn't say that I didn't complete the adventure; all I said were things I hated about the map, but if you want a more detailed summary of my opinions, then here it is:

A positive aspect to the map was that:
- The map at least served a purpose. (bravo)
- With not much available for income, means that you have to rely on the Gods to get resources and that was a great element in the adventure. (bravo)
- There was something written down on the adventure text at least (bravo)
- Events like city requests meant you must prevent other cities from having low opinions of you - especially early on. This gives players incentive and at least have something to do, which is a good thing. (bravo)
- Thus, you need to pay attention and interact with cities in the world map which is immersive. (bravo)
- There were also a variety of challenging events added, like the minotaur, or quests and military declines etc (bravo).

However, what destroyed the adventure was:
- The storyline. It was more like a guide or walkthrough than a story, so it was spoon-feeding me everything I needed to know. :/ I want to search for the cookie, not be told where it is.
- The storyline/Walkthrough had a lot of plot holes. I kept asking myself "What did Athens do that made the adventure want me to hate them so much?" (seriously, why?); and "why am I suddenly this bloodthirsty leader who wants to do nothing but conquer?" - Yes, I understand it was for fun, but even a simple adventure needs a cohesive story that leaves little plot holes.
- The parent map. Please please please - NEVER add letters to your map again. Ever. Adding letters to your map is like injecting potassium salts into your bloodstream. The map will die. If only the creator erased it, and gave some room to add mountains, rocks and even beaches etc, I would've appreciated it a little more. In fact, I would probably be a little attached to it, but well, he didn't and that was a let-down. There's no excuse for an empty map.

All-in-all, the adventure was a tad too easy for my taste, due to the storyline. It could be better though, and I hope the creator makes better maps and better storylines. Was nice to see the creator add something for playability, but the map was.. Meh. :/

Parent map looked like Farmville without the sea.
