Yep, an Open Play game! I was not sure if this type of games are welcome/popular on Zeus Heaven but after I finished this one I decided that sharing it here won't hurt, right?
This one comes with a little twist - you start as a vassal of powerful Basilikon of Athens, who will periodically demand tribute. It's up to you if you will be an obedient subject or rise in revolt at the first opportunity!
In the meantime, there will be requests (and demands) for goods, soldiers and even heroes, and friendly Gods will bestow upon you Quests! Are you going to diligently fulfill every demand or will you ignore them while building your strength to stand against Basilikon?
Well, it's an Open Play adventure - so the decision is in your hands!
Update 4/4/16: A weird graphical glitch caused the ramp to silver ore hill disappear. This has been fixed!
I loved playing this adventure and I will be playing it again with some minor changes from things I learned ;)
Although challenging, I'm not sure there was much that was unbalanced about this adventure.
Very well thought out! I loved the story and the constant rivalry other cities had with me.
Map Design: 4
The world and parent city maps were great! The beach was annoying, but hey the landscape can't always be perfect.
As I have said, the story was great! I conquered the city that I was paying tribute to somewhere along the way. Stick it to 'em!
Additional Comments: I finished with my city at roughly 7300 people, 4 temples to Zeus, Hephaestus, Apollo, and Dionysus, four frigate wharves, all heroes summoned and monster slain, and all rivals conquered. I had a lot of fun :)
