Welcome to the lands of the Freehold, a peninsula state extending south from Essos into the Summer Sea. Nearby are the three great port cities of Yunkai, Meereen, and Astaphor, known around the world as Slaver's Bay and sworn rivals of the Valyrian Freehold. With rivals on all sides, you are tasked with bringing about the Valyrian Empire. May the Gods be with you.
I love custom adventures and this is my first try at making one. My next adventure will feature the cities of the Narrow Sea, I hope to make a few more about ASOIAF and Planetos.
Thank you and Hope you Enjoy! GothicMedea |

This adventure appears to be Game of Thrones mythology (for those few of you who may not have realized). |

I love the idea but you messed up in the colony episode. You set minor shrine of hades as the goal, but only allow for the option to build the major shrine, or vice versa, I can't remember which. But it rendered the game unplayable |

Thank you for your adventure. I like it so far.
SPOILER!!
I just started in the 2nd colony, Tolos. The only food building allowed is fishery, but there are no fish in the water.
I can buy 12 fish and 12 wheat a year and get 32 fish in tribute, so I guess I could work with that.
I was just wondering if it is your intension to be like this.
Regards,
Edit: I finished the adventure

Playability: 5
There are a few tough problems to solve but the adventure moves along steady for the most part. Some anxious moments about available resources and sometimes you are drowning in gifts.
Lot's of money to be made by a successful business man.
It's nice to play an adventure once in a while that is not under constant attack from monsters, irate gods, natural disasters, and rivals wanting more land.
Balance: 4
A solid design with a lot of building to do, resources to mine, and trading. It's sell, sell, sell all the way through.
Meeting the episode goals is not too difficult if you determine the best order to complete them in.
Creativity: 4
Good use of most available features without resorting to tricky situations that require playing a long time waiting for something to happen.
Map Design: 4
A really big and complex parent with a couple of small colonies. The parent has plenty of room to roam with lots of meadows for growing and raising what you need and resources to mine.
The first colony lent itself to a nicely compact city.
Story/Instructions: 4
A nice story line that was interesting and not too verbose.
Instructions and guidance that was provided was very useful.
Additional Comments:
An excellent first adventure by GothicMedea! |

This is a pretty good adventure. It's straightforward and doesn't dump a lot of crises on the player all at once. There are a few small issues with the colonies; both get big gifts of fleece from the parent city every year, but this isn't really necessary since both colonies can herd sheep. I ended up with huge surpluses of the stuff with no cities willing to buy the extra.
The first colony gets huge gifts of 64 orichalc every two years which much more than it needs for the pyramids and trade; even if the player were to build frigates and towers, it would still be a massive surplus. If this event only occured once, it would have been enough to achieve victory.
I used both of these surpluses as gifts, but it's still a lot of extra resources the player doesn't really need.
Balance: 4
The adventure is generally not too difficult or hard, but there is one issue in the first episode. It's very difficult to get the bronze needed to start work on the sanctuaries required on Olympian difficulty. The only place to get bronze at the very start is from one of the rivals, and even when I dumped enough gifts on them to make them docile, they still wouldn't give into a demand for bronze. I was able to get enough bronze to make the sculptures for Ares' Fortress by dropping down to Hero briefly, and then Ares' soldiers were strong enough for me to raid the bronze I needed to finish the episode back on Olympian.
In the second episode, the player needs to build two pyramids, but only 12 each of marble and black marble are available for trade. There's no problem in completing the episode itself, but it takes a while to finish because of the low trade numbers.
Creativity: 3
It's good to see a unique scenario, but I'm not sure if GoT matches up well with ancient Greece or Atlantis.
Map Design: 4
There's good work on the maps. There's room to work with without cramping up the player, and there's some attention given to detail, so there's not a lot of square rivers, islands and coastlines, no vast stretches of plain empty land and so on.
Story/Instructions: 3
The story's okay, but some parts of the text feel a little sparse.
Additional Comments:
It's a pretty good first time effort from the designer, and it's good for a player that want to play an Atlantean adventure without a lot of stress events.[Edited on 09/22/16 @ 02:12 PM]

Orius, I'm amazed to see you're back here after 12 years (??) or so. I played your adventures and while I never finished any (I hardly finishing anything I start) I think they were great, and I took a little inspiration from your adventures in designing mine (especially my second adventure, The Sea People - the idea came to me after I played your Attack of the Fish Men).
Would be great to see another adventure from you some time![Edited on 09/25/16 @ 01:02 AM]
