Difficulty: Titan
Number of episodes: 8+3

This is our first adventure we created in the editor. The story is based in the broadest sense on the legend of King Midas, who with his touch was said to have been able to transform everything earthly into gold.

We wish you a lot of fun in this adventure and hope you enjoy the challenge of playing it. We are looking forward to your comments and ratings.

There is also a German version of the adventure, which was even created by us with soundtrack. You can find them here:

Hey there, i got a game crashing bug while on the second colony episode, i chose Lemnos and wherever i place a building the message "Area cut off from the world" pops up and destroys it, no matter the place on the map. I read a thread from another adventure with a similar bug and built bridges all over the place but didn't solve it either.

It's an awesome adventure and i'd really like to finish it!!
Thnx!

First off, I made this account just to review this campaign, which I loved. It's been my favorite of the half-dozen I've played this month (Got nostalgic for these games and found this site looking for custom campaigns).

Playability: 4 on Hero difficulty, with an exception.

The city doesn't give you everything you need to succeed, and that's fine. The colonies were challenging (4000 people? Support 32 hoplites on a tiny map?), without being impossible, and with careful planning, the main objectives were doable as well.

My main problem is that it bugged out horribly as soon as I started the mission where you have to build Hera's temple, get the 48-stade hippodrome, and the 4 monuments. Graphics did the repeat glitch, and the map treated 2/3rds of the city as being stone, which makes it impossible to finish the last two missions, which is too bad, as I was attached to my city and wanted to complete the storyline.

Balance: 5
I love how you have to think creatively. Sometimes, it's a good idea to save up resources, sometimes you just have to allow the monster to beat you up while you finish the mission, sometimes you have to prioritize which god would be best to have. Really fun to get right.

Creativity: 5
It's got some challenges, but they're not impossible to overcome. There's definitely times where you have to sacrifice things to win the game, which I love.

Map Design: 5
I liked that it had plenty of space, but not so much open land that you could be wasteful with it. I think I was approaching a 9000 person city while only using 2/3rds of the map.

Story/Instructions: 5
The dialogue was great. Quality, interesting, helpful without flat-out saying "don't build in this part of the map, rush so-and-so's sanctuary, etc."

There is "Thera call for help" and wine out of screen bugs but still playable.

Good. The parent city have many things but slowly introducing and no farm or fishing, this make food problem but good in balancing the city.

Creativity: 5
Fun.

Map Design: 4
Good looking map, World map also.

Story/Instructions: 5
Quite a funny story and relate to the greek myth.
