I've finally completed this adventure. It has been such a blast making my own adventure. I had attempted to make voiceovers, but couldn't get it to work. So I'm just going to release them as is.
Thank you again to @dulano who playtested the then incomplete first round of this adventure.
Build Kyme up from a small village to a powerful city. The parent map isn't incredibly large so this adventure does require some creative building.
Colonies include Zankle, Agrokres, Pantecapeum, and Byzantios
Byzantios is new to this release, I tried my hand at a map of Byzantium for the player. The peninsula is narrow, but not cramped and there's just a little bit of land across the golden horn. I hope players enjoy.
The last two missions are not meant to be too difficult, allowing for some open play, but with simple enough goals as to progress when the player is ready.
Thanks for reading and playing!

Hello I'm back for my dose of Zeus lol. It's been few months since I've played the playtest version of this adventure, glad to see the adventure's been completed. Took me awhile to "replay" the whole adventure. Here's my overdue ratings, along with some comments below.
The early parts of the adventure were somewhat easy, though I must admit I'm "cheating" a little, since I still vaguely remember most of the layout, and some bit parts of how the adventure will go. There were some pleasant surprises by the many new elements added to the latter parts of the adventure (additional Colony, new objectives, more events etc.) Certified fresh, these added parts (ie. angry gods) arguably made it tougher than the playtest version, nonetheless if not more enjoyable.
Having said that, and rather unfortunately, I've stumbled upon few issues which I didn't during my playtest run. *Spoilers ahead for those who wish to avoid.
1. During episode 3, and onwards, Zankle stopped trading and never recovered. Although the story did warn in advance about Zankle being unable to trade securely, but in my first run Zankle did not resume trading. I didn't actually notice about this until episode 5, where my expanding Kyme was struggling with Oil and the lowly amount of tribute Olives, and yet couldn't buy more Olives from Zankle. So I rolled back to a previous save, and read thru the editor for a bit, and found a suspect with the event sequence. Apparently I had called for Hercules and slayed Hydra too early which was BEFORE Zankle shuts down the trade; with Hydra gone, there wasn't any way (trigger) for Zankle to resume trade with Kyme here-on and the subsequent episodes. So in my second run I went with a workaround, not-so-beautiful but it worked; I've let Hydra live in Kyme for a while (RIP those masonries), wait for Zankle to shut down the trade, only then I call for the clubber who swiftly dispatched Hydra, and ta-da Zankle opened trade, nice!
Well the above ultimately may not be much of a case, given that another source of Olives will appear a few more episodes later (Byzantios). But this was still a funny thing to ponder :)
2. This was actually new and not in playtest version I believe. Episode 9, back to Kyme after the final colony Byzantios. I left the game unpaused, and right after a month in-game I got all the objectives completed without touching anything. Well it wasn't a surprise at this stage, Kyme was already rolling and pretty much self-running. But then I noticed from the story which referred to Athena and Athens, and some from the editor too, that there were plenty of events I had inadvertently missed out in this episode. Most notably no Athens. Maybe more roadblock objectives in this episode could help, such as production per year, to give events more time to pan out... but I'm not exactly sure about this.
Overall this adventure's a great effort well done. Now with a smooth and captivating story, updated with more events and balance, once again I enjoyed this very much. For players who appreciate a long adventure with varying colony episodes (6+4), this is a great pick. I'm sure it would be a blast for the players, as it did for me. Thanks!

thank you for playing and enjoying
would love to make a few tweaks to this to clear out some of these wrinkles.

what can i do to avoid future players having this problem?
some kind of timed objective that forces the player to wait for zankle to shut down? such as a quest?

this i noticed on my own playthrough as well. i think another objective would be good as you suggest.
thanks again for playing and enjoying this little adventure.

Well I think the only change needed is that, Zankle-shutdown event need to occur BEFORE (or at the same time as) the Hydra quest appears.
As long as the trade with Zankle is already down before players can summon Hercules, I think the rest would be fine; Hercules will defeat Hydra and then trigger the Zankle-resume-trade normally.

You could try a "trading partners" goal to ensure the trade-shutdown event doesn't occur in the next episode. Another thing you could try is add a "trade opens up" event with Zankle on episode completion in the same episode. Either of them ensures that unwanted trade shutdowns won't happen on the next chapters.
Hope this helps you!
