This is the "continuation" of The Trojan War which is included in the Zeus Enhancement Pack. This adventure consists of seven episodes and two colonies, and is rather easy to play.
For the first adventure, I think it's best to start on the land on top the one with the meadows on it's side. I started off building fisheries as it is easier to get the food to people like this. Wine and olive oil production should be started as early as possible, especially wine as you don't get to trade wine later, so make the most out of it. My industries were all concentrated on the top half of the map, where my vines and olivee trees were. You'll find that you need to import fleece and it would be best to locate the pier at the stream in the center of the map.
The second episode requires you to expand your territories, build a sanctuary to Hermes and prepare for you colony. You have all but one of the the materials needed to build the sanctuary, and the catch? You have to conquer the rival before you can get wood. Preparing the goods should be no problem, expecially if you had fisheries earlier on, and it's a good time to start on your estate block and build some dairies too.
The third episode lets you choose your colony. I chose Thrinacia. The colonies are pretty much the same, both having monsters(Thrinacia has a Scylla, Corcyra has a Cyclops) except that in Corcyra you have meadows. Thrinacia is the one where many people reported about not being able to mine silver. I have built the bridge network to help you see how to get to the silver.
The fourth episode returns you to your parent city, Ithaca, where you have to prepare for a new colony and battle the Scylla again. Kill the monster, set aside your goods and be on your way to the next mission.
I got Corcyra for my fifth mission. It was pretty easy, and the Cyclops was very stupid, appearing where there wasn't any meadows. He'll wonder around though, so I had to herd him with walls. Hepheastus's sanctuary needs to be built for the bonze requirement to be met.
The sixth and seventh mission are both in the Parent City. In the sixth mission you'll need to build a sanctuary to Athena and get 4 triremes up and running. Pretty straightforward, by this time you should have your elites up and running well already, in preparation for the last mission. Kraken stops for a visit, so better have enough fleece in your storehouses. All three types of natural disasters manifest themselves here, so watch out. The most damaging for me was the tidal wave which destroyed my fishing industry and the lava which mothballed two of my elite houses. The earthquake and lava appear on the lower half.
The seventh mission sees two allies becoming rivals and you'll have to conquer them. The Cyclops appears on the bottom half of the land and I had to do a great deal of herding with walls to keep him from destroying too much of my elite houses and monuments. The requirements for Oddyseus should be all ready by the time Cyclops comes. A Sanctuary to Zeus needs to be erected and if you didn't plan your land usage well, you'll find that you can't build it due to rock formations. This ast episode is easy, just conquer two cities, build Zeus's sanctuary and kill te Cyclops, and Oddyseus will finally return home, to the relief of Penelope:)
The main problem in this adventure is the presence of rock formations. These can severly hamper you building options and cause problems if you didn't plan properly. I found the layout of my city to be rather efficient and had enough space for everything:)
