Bedrock seems to have all of the materials needed to become a financial powerhouse- and the pyramid capital of the world. Unfortunately, you'll have to face the unfriendly overtures of the Bearer of the World in order to realize your city's full potential...
A sequel of sorts to "The Wrath of Grapes". This adventure is the second in what I'm calling the Godsbane series of adventures. |

Excellent. So much fun I decided to play it a second time and build the "perfect" city.
Keep up the good work. |

Hi-
Thanks for the kind words. Although you might not know it (from the lack of a response on the thread for "Grapes"), I really do appreciate the feedback you've provided, on both adventures.

I'm a new player here (first time, actually), and am having trouble getting the game to even recognize the adventures. I extract them to the folder I made in the adventures file, I made sure the folder was named the title and not the file name. I even restarted my computer. Is there something else I'm missing? |

Hi-
I guess my first question for you would be: Can you confirm that you have the Poseidon expansion (including patch 2.1)? All of my adventures- even the Greek ones- will require Poseidon.
Assuming that is the case, I would need more information in order to help you out, as this doesn't sound like any issue I've heard of before. My E-mail address is included in my author's notes. If you want to send me a note with more detail, I'll see what I can figure out. Or, if you prefer, you might be able to get a better answer in the Technical forums here.

Hi there,
Main Parent city map has no innate food, which is what I don't like as it stops me from booming. So this is prolly gonna sit on my hard drive for a while before I get to try this.
Can you make something where money (or wood or marble or sculpture......) is the limiting factor & not food.
Design otherwise looks fun !! |

Hi, andyblast-
I'm curious. Could you clarify what you mean by "no innate food"? The parent city is capable of building hunting lodges (to harvest all of that boar and deer running around). While you may not be able to build a megacity right away, you should have no problem supporting your city in its early stages.
I'm glad to hear that you otherwise thought the adventure showed some promise. I'll look forward to hearing from you when/if you decide to pull it out and try completing the adventure.
Regards,

Hunting is pretty much ALWAYS a VERY VERY bad idea to sustain >1 fleece-given (i.e. 2 Science) common block & is virtually never good enough for Elite-strips. Even other non-farming foods are bad but hunting is pretty much the worst (hunters keep going from one spawn-point to another all across the map & regen-times are pretty slow too). hunting is (for me) good for only calling Atalanta. |

Playability: 4
Altogether, I enjoyed playing the adventure a lot. I did it on Olympian. It was more challenging than the Wrath of the Grapes, but not something you'd get stressed about. The only reason why I lower the rating here is a bug I encountered. In the last episode, you need a hero to fight a monster and then do a task later on. Once they defeat the monster, you get attacked by Atlas. As it happens, heroes try to fight gods. But this god turned the hero into stone! After some time, the statue disappeared, but I was never able to get the hero back (even after rebuilding the hall, it only said the hero was on the way to the city, never to reach it). So there was no way of doing the task and finishing the episode. I was too far in to start from the beginning, so I just used Ambrosia (the cheat) once everything else was completed.
Balance: 5
Other than the bug, everything worked nicely.
Creativity: 5
Although I didn't see anything new (hard to achieve, taking into account the number of adventures I played) you get a 5 based on the map and especially the story.
Map Design: 5
Nothing to add other than the fact that it looked nice.
Story/Instructions: 5
As always, the shining point of your adventures! :)
